The new print from Mr Jago is here - a 5 colour representation of his amazing silk (paintless) paintings, which are made by pouring dilute inks onto the silk, and dribbled lines of warm gutta (a thick, black semi-liquid that dries to a raised and enamel-like matt finish). The translucence of the finished piece contrasts with the absolute opacity of the gutta outline, and when viewed in daylight, they really come alive - check out Art-El for examples of the original pieces, including the one from which this print has been painstakingly made. Printed on Fabriano 300gsm smooth superior stock, and 500mm x 700mm - the edition size is 50.
