Will Barras and Dicy exclusive.... - Wednesday 04 February, 2009 ....another valentines goodie - this is the new print by Will Barras and Dicy that is being released exclusively through Selfridges and Dreweatts. It's in conjunction with the latest Urban Art auction by Dreweatts. The print will be released on the evening of Thursday February 12th at the 'Artcore' preview at the Ultra Lounge in Selfridges - this is part of the same overall auction, but previewed earlier than the Urban Art. after a terrribly large gap in social proceedings, one of the Toaster guys visited Bristol briefly the other day and stayed over - after a healthy intake of Guiness, it's now clear that there'll be some great things in the proceedings for spring next year involving themselves and several other artists from the UK and across Europe.....maybe even a little something before Christmas!?........to check out what they've been up to, check out the 'toasters blog' Winter arrives with a buzz in the air..... - Wednesday 05 November, 2008 Graffiti artist and photographer Acerone, part of Bristol's TCF Crew, has just finished his end of a lovely new image for one of our new imminent winter releases - pictured here are a few photos just showing a bit of the (large and arduous) process behind the journey from original idea to screenprint. Over the last few years Acer has successfully bought together both mediums, graffiti and photography, with a result of some amazing street pieces and paste ups, this being a great chance to enjoy a part of this in print form, in your own house, without having to get the hammer drill out and cover the sofa in concrete. If you live in Bristol or you're passin through, and you like a bit of the 'traditional' if not contemporary graff styles, be sure to nip into The Golden Lion at the top end of Gloucester Rd - or just stand outside!....a few fresh new canvasses by Magik and Voyder, two of the people responsible for the outside decoration. The prices of the editions will be £78 for the full edition of 50, and £95 for the AP edition of 15 - we hope you think this good value.. The dimensions are our usual 500mm x 700mm, and printed onto Fabriano 300gsm smooth superior stock. Here it is! Shockingly late and shockingly punchy! The long awaited Mr.Jago print is finally here - a beautiful 5 colour silkscreened representation of his amazing silk and gutta paintings. It's taken some serious work to turn this big silk piece into a striking print - this image not doing it justice whatsoever! Catching the fades of colour he gets with his silks, and the lovely loose dripping technique of the outline, this print will rock any Jago fans world - and definitely grab the attention of anyone else willing to let their eyes weep! A TCF founding member, Paris has just returned from a no doubt prolific spell in Berlin, getting biz with the locals. He's going to be involved in more German projects over the following months, we'll keep you posted. We also have this new print from Dicy, available in two colourways in a total edition of 50. We've taken quite alot of preorders for this one which we will honour as a priority, so get in quick if you like it. We just sold these two, again to our mailing list. We've just added a couple of paintings and an unusual The initial hand finished edition of 15 Shoreditch prints has We'll have a few canvasses from Sickboy arriving in early June starring his ubiquitous temple, which can be found all over the place. Same old story - we're a little bit late sending out the new China Mike prints, so thank you everybody for your patience. We managed to print the full edition before China hand-finished the limited, and tried to start sending them all out instead! We shall be posting first thing next week, and only have three left by the way - they look fantastic. These are images of Mr Jago's new canvasses up a little closer - we know we can't really do these titans justice by shrinking them down to 72 dpi ickle nippers, but we can try.. ...it's another mad burner from, er... Kenz. The new canvasses have sold out within minutes. Thanks to Neil and Adam. We're noticing that some orders aren't entering our system straight away, and we think this is because you lot aren't clicking 'Return To Merchant' after paying via PayPal. It's important that you do this (strangely), as we don't receive your order straight away if you don't so you might miss out. More soon.. |
