Dicy was born and bred in the West Midlands - in 1985, he became heavily addicted to the explosion of the UK graffiti scene. He went through art college in Birmingham, developing his thirst for the spray can as a means of expression, and eventually ended up in Bristol.

After a mid-eighties crackdown, Dicy became part of the new wave of writers emerging in Bristol. Over these years, Dicy proved his diverse styles and forward thinking, concentrating on abstract colour, pattern, and his continuing love of letters and type.

Since progressing and experimenting with different mediums, Dicy has found a love for the canvas. Using his screenprinting skills and his love for the visual delights around him, he mixes spraypaint and screenprinting to represent imagery and form in a bold and colourful way.

Dicy's portfolio of work for different clients is ever increasing – both as an individual artist, and as part of the group of artists, the TCF Crew.
