At the beginning of 2000, strange domed temples began to appear on the street corners and trash cans of Bristol. They were the start of the graffiti phenomenon known as Sickboy. Sickboy was interested in the work of the Viennese Artist, Hundertwasser. In particular his work refers to what is known as natural restoration of the city, where nature is reinvited back into the architectural space. In his case graffiti being nature and the architecture being its environment. His logo "The Temple" is a means of catching the eye and remaining in the subconscious. |
